CT or CAT Scanning (Computed Tomography / CT scan)

CT scanning, also known as CAT scanning, is a non-invasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions It combines special X-ray equipment with sophisticated computers producing multiple images of the inside of the body. The cross-sectional images of the area being studied can then be examined on a computer monitor or printed for further evaluation.
