“We have decided to go to the Capitol Medical Center Oupatient Dialysis Center after my mom was discharged from their hospital last October 31,2021. We made this decision because during the time we had to rush my mom to the emergency, Capitol Medical Center was the only hospital who accepted to admit my mom despite the covid situation. We also assessed that with my mom’s unstable condition, it would be more convenient to be with CMDC which is quite near the hospital. Capitol Medical Center also has an inhouse laboratory which can process all the needed laboratory tests needed by my mom which is also walking distance from CMDC. We also felt very well taken care of by the nurse staff of CMDC, Doctors on duty and the whole CMDC staff. When we need to request to some schedule changes, CMDC accommodates us and finds ways to work with our schedule. We feel like we are at home and are now friends with the whole staff along with my mom’s 2nd shift classmates in dialysis treatment. We hope that they continue to be passionate in their work and their care for the patients of CMDC. God bless you all.”

“Once a person becomes a dialysis patient, the routine life will change dramatically. For 3-days a week HD at 6am since February 2021, I come to the CMC OPD-HD center. The center is equipped with the latest HD machines, but more importantly, what sustained me are the efficient, responsible, hardworking and friendly HD nurses, tech and doctors that takes care of each and every patient with compassion. “My father was scheduled for ESWL (L) shockwave on July 3, 2022. On July 1, 2020, I was informed that they already had a LOA approval for my father’s procedure. I was then glad and thankful because they lessened the hours of waiting in queue to get it. On July 3, 2020, we arrived at CMC Stone Treatment Center 3 hours before our scheduled time due to my father’s almost a month-long pain. We expected that my father would not be accommodated for this reason, but to our surprise, Nurse Je and Ms. Shen went out of their duties to take care and somehow ease my father’s pain. They even let my father rest comfortably in one of their beds while we wait for his procedures. After his procedure, they would ask my father’s condition almost every day. For me, it is a good thing that they wanted to know their patient’s health now and then. It feels like their jobs and responsibilities did not end on the day of the procedure itself. Thank you very much Nurse Je, Ms. Shen, Dr. Zamora and Dr. Chua!”

“I highly recommend Capitol Medical Stone Center because of the following reasons: 1. They have newer technologies versus other stone centers. 2. The facility is clean, well-lit, and sanitized versus other dimly lit, hole-in-the-wall centers. 3. The personnel are professional yet warm and friendly. They are able to put patients at ease by having casual conversation with them. Some other stone centers would ask invasive and/or offensive questions which patients (usually in pain) would rather not discuss. 4. As it is the Stone Center of Capitol Medical, you will receive the same excellent level of care and access to some of the best doctors. 5. Since the facility is located separate from the main hospital, it assuages concerns on exposure to viruses/diseases. Outpatients can access it without needing to go through the hospital facility. In my experience, it was also the first time in my over one dozen ESWLs from 5 different centers that I had a copy of the before (with stone) and after (no stone) image of my kidney. Definitely recommend Capitol’s Stone Center 😊”

“I suffered an episode of Septic Shock which affected major organs in my body including my brain. Because of the length of my confinement, I temporarily lost my ability to use my legs and do simple tasks like walking or even standing. I even lost some of the functions of my hands and arms. It is also noteworthy that I suffer from prolonged episodes of gout even before I was hospitalized. It is for this reason that my doctors referred me to the CMC Rehabilitation Department. Weeks before my discharge, I was already visited by the Rehab Therapists daily to start my rehabilitation and to prime up my muscles and joints. It was a painful process but I am glad I went through it. After I was discharged, I continued my visit to CMC Rehab Center in order for me to go back to normalcy. Since I started my bi-weekly sessions, I can say that we have progressed a lot. The sessions are still painful but the gains are really substantial. From having trouble just standing up I can now walk upright even for a limited time and distance. I am now looking forward to walking properly and independently without external support. I really am thankful that I am holding my rehabilitation at the CMC Rehabilitation Center and I am really thankful for the patience and commitment my therapist and the other Rehab Staff have shown me.”

Hello there! I would just like to thank you for your great service last September 17, 2020. There are lots of remarkable things I noticed when I visited the hospital for my son’s EEG. I just think that these things deserve attention from the management. You are doing a great job. Thank you! 1. Mannylene Ordonio from the EEG service team handled everything smoothly and excellently. She patiently answered all our inquiries. After knowing that we have a newborn with us, she took the initiative to conduct the health declaration interview to avoid any possible inconvenience on the scheduled appointment. We were amazed that our data were already endorsed at the reception when we arrived. 2. The reception area/triage is at the strategic location unlike the other hospital we visited. Nice system upon entry. 3. The staff at the elevator was attentive when someone needed help. He saw us looking for the EEG room and he immediately assisted us. 4. Mannylene conducted the EEG smoothly. She was organized. She gave us a briefing on what’s going to happen and what should be done. We truly appreciated it since we’re handling newborn and the procedures should be conducted carefully. 5. The security guards were helpful too. From the time we went to the hospital for the scheduled EEG up to the time my husband picked up the results, they were attentive and responsive to our needs I had a bad experience with other hospital. That is why I realized how great service can affect someone esp during this time of pandemic. Capitol Medical Center is one of the hospitals with an established system.
