Fight Cancer

Cancer is among the most common diseases and leading causes of death in the Philippines and worldwide. Data from the Philippine Cancer Society show that cancer is the third leading cause of mortality among Filipinos, specifically lung and breast cancer. These malignancies are on the rise and estimates from the World Health Organization on new cancer cases show a bleak picture. They are expected to increase over the next two decades by as much as 50% to 70%.

Fortunately, there is cause for optimism as significant advances in cancer treatment are becoming available. Complementing standard chemotherapy, new treatment options like targeted therapy, biologic therapy, as well as immunologic therapy, offer cancer patients the hope for prolonged and better quality life.
